i swear nothing in this world compares to love from a woman. and i’m not even just talking about romantic love. the way women love the people in their lives so selflessly and abundantly and genuinely is so beautiful to me. women are truly special

I want a future where every man is afraid to talk to, approach, or touch a girl or woman without making sure she consents and is Interested. I want every man to feel so terrified of the consequences of harming a girl or woman that he never wants to talk to them unless they talk to him first. Waiting for men to see us as human is taking too long. What’s working is ruining their lives and destroying their sense of entitlement. That’s a future im down for.

Does that actually sound like a future you really want? Like all of this?

This is why listening is important. And why when women talk you need to listen

How can you LITERALLY read a post where someone says what they want

And ask “is this really what you want?”

Y’all are so aggravating.

hot take: if women’s sexuality wasn’t severely shamed and suppressed even in the context of heterosexuality, if sex was framed as reciprocal rather than something men do to women, a hell of a lot more women would realize they’re not actually attracted to men at all

the fact that so many of the people reblogging this post are interpreting it as a bitter lesbian whining about how women won’t sleep with her instead of a discussion of how society’s framing of sex negatively affects gay women is incredibly telling of how this website views lesbians

straightpeoplereceipts:

the reason none of you are allowed to have straight pride is specifically because our neighbours sent anti-gay preachers to our doorstep so they could warn me that having sex with a woman will cause the apocalypse & offer to have two men baptise me in my own bathtub while my fiancée was at work. like there’s at least two other reasons but it’s really specifically that one

why did they give this line to the villain

Because they wanted it to seem like an extreme position that only a cold-hearted woman who wants a puppy coat could have.

Apparently my mum’s art lecturer said something really similar to her when she told her that she was getting married, something along the lines of “Oh well, maybe you’ll still be able to use your artistic talent in between cooking and cleaning up after your children” and my mum said that at the time she was angry but looking back she realised that her lecturer was just disappointed bc she saw potential and my mum turned down a chance to have a solo exhibition bc she was getting married. Sadly, that lecturer wasn’t wrong.
